Chasing Elon is an interactive, entertainment-focused creative social experiment. The website visualizes wealth comparisons using publicly available benchmark data and community participation.

Nothing on this site constitutes financial, legal, investment, or tax advice. No ownership interests, stock, security tokens, or promise of financial returns are created through the use of this website.

All monetary transactions on the Service are processed securely through our authorized Merchant of Record (MoR), Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments is legally responsible for order processing, billing management, fraud screening, and tax compliance across supported jurisdictions worldwide.

Standard pricing and sponsorship tiers on the Service are denominated in US Dollars (USD). Depending on your billing country and jurisdiction, applicable local value-added taxes (VAT), Goods and Services Tax (GST), or state/local sales taxes will be calculated, added, and collected by Dodo Payments at checkout in compliance with local tax regulations (such as the EU VAT Directive).

You agree to pay all charges incurred by you or any users of your account or payment card at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred.

All monetary contributions and time-based virtual fuel allocations are voluntary and unconditional gifts supporting the ongoing operation, development, and infrastructure of this web experiment. They do not constitute charitable donations, commercial purchases of physical goods, or equity investments.

Instant Fulfillment: Digital perks—including real-time position calculation on the Hall of Fame Leaderboard, live supporter bubble announcements, verified supporter badges, and live simulation curve progression—are fully provisioned immediately upon successful completion of your transaction.

Dynamic Rankings & No Guaranteed Placement: All positions on the Hall of Fame Leaderboard and promotional bubbles are dynamic and determined in real-time based on cumulative community contributions. We do not guarantee permanent placement, specific rank duration, or fixed prominence. A change or decline in rank resulting from subsequent contributions by other participants does not constitute a service failure and shall not entitle you to any refund or compensation.

Because public recognition and promotional exposure are irrevocably executed in real time upon payment, ALL SPONSORSHIPS ARE FINAL AND STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE. We do not provide prorated refunds, partial refunds, or refunds due to changes in rank or subsequent community contributions.

If you reside in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any jurisdiction providing statutory cooling-off cancellation rights for distance or online contracts, this section applies to you.

In accordance with Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights and Regulation 37 of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 regarding the supply of digital content and instant digital services: by initiating and completing a transaction, you expressly request and consent to the immediate performance and execution of the digital services (specifically, instantaneous publication on the Leaderboard and live supporter bubbles), and you expressly acknowledge and agree that your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal or cancellation is lost and waived as soon as the service performance begins.

Fair Community Metrics: If a contribution is refunded, cancelled, or reversed for any reason, the corresponding Leaderboard entry and supporter badge will naturally be updated, hidden from public display, and adjusted from cumulative community totals so that the Hall of Fame accurately reflects active sponsorships.

Supporters may submit display names, cheer messages, avatar preferences, and outbound links (including social media handles or personal websites).

You agree not to submit any content or links that are illegal, fraudulent, harassing, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, infringing on intellectual property, or containing malicious software.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without prior notice or refund, to remove, edit, or redact any user-submitted content or links that violate these terms or community standards.

Names, likenesses, logos, and trademarks related to Elon Musk, Tesla, SpaceX, and X Corp belong to their respective trademark holders.

Reference to public figures, trademarks, or public corporate data is made solely for expressive purposes, parody, commentary, and public education under the Fair Use doctrine.

Original website graphics, user interface designs, and codebase are the proprietary property of the project creators.

The Service is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data feeds will always be free from latency or temporary inaccuracy.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Chasing Elon or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or inability to access the Service.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Updated versions will be published on this page with an updated 'Last Revised' date.

Continued use of the Service following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those modifications.
